Fashion Day
March 2010, excitement and a million ideas. There arose a foretaste of something that would later become the biggest event of our lives. A project that was supposed to be another in the midst of hundreds, began to take unimaginable proportions by previous generations and even by their own creators. Were in the afternoons and mornings of Tuesdays and Thursdays respectively that the Fashion Design Day 2010 was plotted by a group of 10 people: Ana Thereza, Anna Clara, Carlos, Débora, Hanna, Jéssica, Luiz, Rafael, Ruth and Stéfane.
We have to include in this note: all the fights, disagreements, anger and above all, dissent. A heterogeneous group of beginning, divided into groups of "doing this" and of "doing that". And only after three months, with much struggle, we hit the spot where the event would take place: Teatro Municipal Manoel Franz de Lima!
In these two months and a half or so that remained had to chase literally the injury. The result? Exhaustion of a Saturday in Belo Horizonte budgeting in minute detail everything that would be spent for the greatest show that had ETFG year. Ah! A pertinent observation: Nothing that was budgeted was used, it waste of time! But it’s all right.
Came the holiday season of rest. Amazingly little was talked about Fashion Day. Nobody had realized that was missing less than a month when we return to class. Resumed the race. It was a decorator, figurines, invitations, indispensable, testing, selection of jurors, letters and more letters to be sent, the final budget, tax exemption of the theater's crazy! In fact, until the day of the event were still pending with many of these things.
How many challenges we had to overcome?
How many friendships we had to reveal in a few moments?
How many frogs had to swallow...? Countless!
How many times we thought about quitting?
None!
We saw, We live and we won!
